Traubach-le-Haut

Traubach -le-Haut is an Alsatian village with 553 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the French department of Haut-Rhin. It belongs to the district Altkirch and thence to Canton Dannemarie. The municipality is one of 33 members of the Association of Municipalities Porte d' Alsace ( CCPA ).

Geography

The community Traubach -le-Haut in the field of Burgundian gate is between Belfort and Mulhouse, in the extreme southwest of the Alsace region. Through the municipal area flows the Traubach which drains via the Largue to Ill and thus belongs to the catchment area of ​​the Rhine.

Neighboring communities of Traubach -le-Haut are Guevenatten in the north, hedges ( point of contact ) and Falkwiller in the northeast, Buethwiller the southeast, Traubach -le- Bas in the south and Bréchaumont in the West.
