The Divide County is a county located in the state of North Dakota in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Crosby.

Geography

The County is located in the extreme northwest of North Dakota is bordered to the north by Canada, to the west by Montana and has an area of ​​3352 square kilometers, of which 90 square kilometers are water surface. It borders in the United States clockwise to the following counties: Burke County, Williams County and Sheridan County ( Montana).

History

Divide County was formed in 1910. It was named after the state of division of Williams County.
