Geography

The County is located southwest of the geographic center of North Dakota, is around 10 km to the south from the border to South Dakota and has an area of ​​4315 square kilometers, of which 17 square kilometers are water surface. History

Grant County was formed in 1916. It was named after Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States.
