Oliver County is a county located in the state of North Dakota in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat ) is the Centre.

Geography

The County is located just west of the geographic center of North Dakota and has an area of ​​1894 square kilometers, of which 20 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: McLean County, Burleigh County, Morton County and Mercer County.

History

Oliver County in 1885 gebildet.Benannt it was named after Harry S. Oliver, an early politician and member of legislation in the Dakota Territory.
