Stutsman County is a county located in the state of North Dakota in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Jamestown.

Geography

The County is located in the central southeastern North Dakota and has an area of ​​5952 square kilometers, of which 199 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Foster County, Griggs County, Barnes County, LaMoure County, Logan County, Kidder County and Wells County.

History

Stutsman County was formed in 1873. It was named after Enos Stutsman.
