Flers-sur-Noye

Flers- sur- Noye ( Picard: Fler -su - noee ) is a northern French village with 432 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Noye, in the canton Ailly- sur- Noye.

Geography

The community on the Noye is located south of Essertaux in Canton Conty at the department road D1001 ( former Route nationale 16) and extends west to the Autoroute A16, exit 17 which is outside the municipal area.

Attractions

  • The church, with 1898 newly built porch and tower.
  • The burnt during the Second World War and not rebuilt castle dating back to 1740.
