List of New Testament uncials

The uncial or Majuskelhandschriften of the New Testament originated mostly from the 3rd to the 10th century. Are characteristic of parchment writing material instead of the formerly used papyrus, the codex form, which replaced the scroll, and the font that uncial. From the 9th century uncial was increasingly displaced by the minuscule.

Today a total of 322 Majuskelhandschriften with texts of the New Testament are known, but most of them are only fragments of a few leaves. Researching the Majuskelhandschriften in the 19th and 20th centuries was of great importance for the textual criticism of the New Testament.
