Neufeld

Neufeld is a municipality in the district of Dithmarschen in Schleswig-Holstein. Besides Neufeld are Fahrstedteraltendeich, Kattrepel, Kattrepelerfeld, and Marner Neuenkoogsdeich in the municipality.

History

Today's church was built in 1970 by the merger of the parish community Marne country belonging to 1934, then independent municipalities Neufeld, Kattrepel and Marner Neuenkoogsdeich.

Nazi -Treff "Exchange"

The municipality Neufeld came between December 2006 and May 2007 repeatedly across the country by Nazi concerts in the headlines. The former restaurant " to exchange" had been hired by a neo-Nazi and was used as a meeting place for the Dithmarsch neo-Nazi scene. The last Nazi concert on May 5, 2007, broken up by police. Located directly on the Elbe Neufeld was until the construction of the railway to Dithmar with the high bridge Hochdonn and the roads were improved an important port for the region.
