Krugsdorf

Pitcher Village is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in eastern Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. The community is managed by the Office of Uecker- Randow - Tal with its headquarters in the nearby town of Pasewalk.

Geography

Between Uecker and Randowbruch pitcher village located in a forested and well-watered environment ( Ueckermünder Heide nature reserve Koblentzer Big Lake ). The city Pasewalk is six kilometers away.

  • The village church pitcher village was the end of the 17th / built in the early 18th century. It is a timber-framed building with three-sided Ostschluss and western roof tower with curly hood. Inside the church there is a panel painting which is probably made around 1600. It shows the preaching of John the Baptist and Dutch influences. Krug village was up in the middle of the 20th century a church in the evangelical parish Koblentz and today belongs to the parish church in the county Zerrenthin Pasewalk the Pomeranian Evangelical Church (located in Greifswald).

Catholic hand pitcher village is incorporated into the parish Pasewalk - Strasburg Quadrangle in Pasewalk and is part of the Dean's Office Vorpommern (headquarters: Greifswald) in the Archdiocese of Berlin.

The nearest railway station is located in the three kilometers away neighboring Zerrenthin on the railway line Biitzow - Szczecin, there also runs the main road 104 Pasewalk to Szczecin ( former German Reich road 104 from Lübeck Stettin until after Schneidemühl (Polish: and Pila ) later to Plöhnen ( Płońsk ) led ).
