Zirchow

Zirchow is a municipality south of the Baltic Sea coast on the island of Usedom in the so-called Achterland located right on the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon. The community is managed by the Office of Usedom -Süd, located in the town of Usedom. By 2005, the village belonged to the Official Ahlbeck - Szczecin Lagoon.

Geography and transport

Zirchow lies to the south on the north shore of the Szczecin Haff of 110 B amidst the nature park Usedom Island. About six miles north of the town, the seaside resort of Heringsdorf. To the east is the municipality Garz. A part of the airport Heringsdorf is located in the municipality.

History
