Ducherow

Ducherow is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern, Germany. It is administered by the Office Anklam country located in the municipality Spantekow. It is the most populous municipality in the district and was, until 1 January 2005, the seat of the Office Ducherow.

Geography and Transport

The municipality is located on the western edge of the Ueckermünder Heath. Anklam is located approximately 13 kilometers north-west and Ueckermuende about 20 kilometers east of the community.

Ducherow lies on the main road 109 The railway Angermuende Stralsund - runs through the municipality. Previously branched at Ducherow station leading to the island of Usedom railway Ducherow - Heringsdorf - Wolgast from ferry, which is now operated on her lying on the part of the island between Swinoujscie and Wolgast. History

Busow

Sophienhof
