Polzow
Polzow is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in eastern Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office of Uecker- Randow - Tal with its headquarters in the nearby town of Pasewalk.
Geography
Polzow lies on the northern edge of a Endmoränenbogens that stretches from Pasewalk after Löcknitz between Uecker and Randowtal. North of Polzow begins the flatter area of Ueckermünder Heath. The community is located only 4 km from Pasewalk, so she is appreciated by young homebuilders. New Polzow located one kilometer north of Polzow and Roggow two kilometers south of the village.

History
Polzow is mentioned as Poltzow in the land book of Mark Brandenburg of 1375 was first documented.
On July 25, 1952 Polzow was removed together with other municipalities from the Brandenburg until 1945 the Prussian district Prenzlau and assigned to the circle Pasewalk in the district of Neubrandenburg.
