List of Grand Slam women's doubles champions
The list of winners of the Grand Slam tournaments in women's doubles first lists all the winners in the four Grand Slam tournaments in tennis - Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open - since 1889. In another list, the players are sorted by the number of their victories. It also specify the period during which the athlete has won and the number of victories in the individual tournaments. Since the concept of the Grand Slam tournament was only coined in the 1930s, the term is ahistorical " victory in a Grand Slam tournament " for the title reached before this time. They are nevertheless included in the enumeration.
Martina Navratilova of the United States, with 31 Grand Slam titles between 1975 and 1990, the most successful player. Serena and Venus Williams are with its thirteen victories since 1999, the most successful active tennis players. 19 tennis players succeeded so far to win in each of the four tournaments.
