Peoria Prancers

The Peoria Prancer were an American ice hockey franchise in the International Hockey League from Peoria, Illinois. Their home stadium was the Carver Arena.

History

The Peoria Prancer were founded in 1982 as a franchise of the International Hockey League. The club could not reach the play-offs and placed in two seasons each in the bottom half of the IHL in both the 1982/83 season, as well as 1983/84. In the summer of 1984 the team was renamed the Peoria Rivermen.
