Süderheistedt

Süderheistedt is a municipality in the district of Dithmarschen in Schleswig-Holstein.

Geography

The municipality is located in the Eider- Treene lowlands near the district town of Heide along Route 150

The municipality is divided into the districts Aukrug, Hägen and Süderheistedt.

History

On 1 January 2009, the municipality merged with the municipality Süderheistedt Hägen.

Policy

Since the local elections of 2013, the voters Community WGS has all nine seats in the municipal council.
