Detroit Metal Mouldings

The Detroit Metal Mouldings were an American ice hockey franchise in the International Hockey League from Detroit, Michigan.

History

The Detroit Metal Mouldings was founded in 1946 as a franchise of the International Hockey League. In addition to the Detroit Auto Club and Detroit Bright's Goodyears the team was the third team from the Motor City Detroit, which was recorded in the IHL. His greatest success was achieved by the team that ran aground in the last year of its existence under the name Detroit Jerry Lynch, in the season 1948/49, when she reached the second place in the North Division. However, the franchise was disbanded after the season along with city rivals Detroit Bright's Goodyears. The gap that left both teams, was filled by the Detroit Hettche who participated from 1949 to 1952 at the Games operation of the IHL.
