Rubkow

Rubkow is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald. The community is managed by the Office Züssow based in Züssow. Until 1 January 2005, the village belonged to the Official Ziethenstraße.

History

Boemitz

The Good Boemitz was from time immemorial a Walzengut, ie it moved constantly owners. Daugzin

Daugzin was originally a fief of the Owstin and fell as dowry to Lieutenant Colonel Eickstedt. According to the Swedish land survey of Western Pomerania (1692-1709) was Daugzin together with Ramitzow owned by the wife of Lieutenant Colonel Eickstedt. On April 15, 1763 bought members of the family of Hertell from Boemitz the goods Daugzin and Ramitzow for 38,000 dollars and 100 ducats from the Lieutenant Johann Friedrich Magnus v. Krenzow

Krenzow is a Slavic settlement. The name probably derives from the Slavic words " horseradish " (the plant plantain ) and " Ow " ( the floodplain, the river ) from. The spelling varied over time: Krensow, Krentzow, Crentzow, Crenzow. The place was in 1618 listed as Krensow On the Lubinschen card.

Krenzow presented the Hauptbegüterung in the parish Rubkow dar.. The first known owner of the manor was the rich wealthy and respected noble family Nienkerken that occurred in 1249 with Rudolf de Nienkerke and has gone around the year 1628 with Christoph von New churches. Then were Krenzow ( and Zarrentin ) the property of Steding family on Lentschow. Christoph Adolf von Steding, later major in the Swedish military service, Krenzow sold in 1745 to the office of Captain of Averdieck in Wolgast, who leased it to Johann Friedrich Wilhelm von Owstin. Over the decades, the manor house and the other estate buildings were neglected and rebuilt. The Good Krenzow is a historical monument because it is in the system as one of the best preserved in Vorpommern applies ( Score: Landesheimatverband ). The rare plants in the manor park and the sycamore trees at the village pond are among his specialties. The park is largely preserved, but is mostly neglected.

Wahlendow

Wahlendow was first mentioned in 1344 as " Wolendowe " documentary. The name is not interpreted. In 1462 the place belonged to the monastery Krummin.

Rubkow

Rubkow was first mentioned in 1257 as " Robechowe " documentary. The name of the Slavic foundation should be " cut " or derived from "worm".

Zarrentin

Zarrentin was first mentioned in documents in 1467. The name probably comes from " črŭnŭ " for " black ", so "Dark City ".
