Cayman Islands at the Olympics

The Cayman Islands, whose NOK, which was established in the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee, in 1973, since 1976 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. With the exception of the boycotted Games in 1980 athletes took the British Caribbean islands part in all the following summer games and also at the 2010 Winter Games.

A total of 36 participants were sent, including five women. Medals could not yet be won.

The youngest participant in 2004 was the swimmer Shaune Fraser, who started at the age of 16 years, about 200 meters freestyle and failed in the flow. The oldest athlete in 1996 was the sailor Mark Clark, who went to the start at the age of 45 years in the Finn dinghy.
