Maldives at the Olympics

The Maldives, the NOK, which was Maldives Olympic Committee, established in 1985, since 1988 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. At the Winter Games so far no athlete was sent

A total of 29 participants were sent, of which nine are women. Medals could not win athletes of the island nation to date.

The youngest participant was 2000, Fariha Fathimath swimmer who took up at the age of 13 years on 50 -meter freestyle and was ranked 69. The oldest participant was in 2008 the Athlete Ali Shareef, who went over 100 meters at the age of 29 years at the start, but was eliminated in the flow.
