Yemen at the Olympics

Yemen, the NOK, the Yemen Olympic Committee, established in 1971 and was recognized in 1981 by the IOC, shall, after the unification of South Yemen with North Yemen since 1992 Summer Olympics in part. At the Winter Games athletes were not previously sent.

A total of 25 athletes entered, among them three women on. Athletes from Yemen have so far not win any medals.

The youngest member of a Yemeni team was the 1992 Athlete Anwar Mohamed, who went to the start at the age of 15 years. The athlete Hana Ali Saleh was in 2000 at the age of 32 years oldest starter.
