Guinea at the Olympics

Guinea, the NOK, the Comité National Olympique et Sportif Guinean, founded in 1954 and was recognized in 1965 by the IOC since 1968 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. 1972 was dispensed to participate in 1976 joined one to the boycott of African countries. On winter games so far participated in no athletes from Guinea.

With a 17- year-old Mariama Barry Taekwondoin 2008 participated the youngest athlete Guinea. The oldest participant was 38 years in 1980 with the judoka Mamadou Diallo.
