Central African Republic at the Olympics

The Central African Republic, the NOK, the Comité National Olympique et Sportif Centrafricain, founded in 1964 and was recognized in 1965 by the IOC, took part in 1968 in the Olympic Summer Games. 1972 was dispensed to participate. 1976 and 1980, the NOK joined the calls for a boycott of the Games in Montreal and Moscow. At the Winter Games No athletes have so far been sent.

A total of 47 participants were sent, of which eleven women. Medals could not yet be won.

Youngest participant in 2008 was the athlete Mireille Dereboba - Ngaisset, which was launched at the age of 18 years. The oldest participant was 42 years in 2000 with the archer Henriette Youanga.
