Heinzenbach
Heinzenbach is a municipality in the Rhein- Hunsrück district, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Kirchberg (Hunsrück ).
History
The first mention is found in Sponheim gradient register of 1310. During the Middle Ages the town was owned by the monastery Ravengiersburg, but most residents were subjects of the Counts of Sponheim.
With the occupation of the left bank of the Rhine in 1794 by French revolutionary troops, the place was French, 1815, he was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna. Since 1946 it has been part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded.
