Pfalzfeld is a municipality in the Rhein- Hunsrück district, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Emmelshausen. Pfalzfeld is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geographical location
Pfalzfeld is centrally located in the Hunsrück between Emmelshausen Kastellaun, right on Schinderhannes cycle path.

History
In the year 893 the place in Prüm land register was first mentioned. He was later to Niedergrafschaft Katzenelenbogen and was the seat of the Bailiwick Pfalzfeld.
