Altweidelbach
Altweidelbach is a municipality in the Rhein- Hunsrück district, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality simmering / Hunsrück.

To Altweidelbach include residential places Hammes mill ( also called Eselmühle ) and Weirichsmühle ( cats Locher mill), both located on Mount Wilson. The neighboring towns include: Choice Bach, Argenthal, Pleizenhausen, simmering and Mutterschied.
History
The place was first mentioned in 1006 as Widimbach. Between 1410 and 1598 as well as 1610 and 1673 Altweidelbach belonged to the Duchy of Pfalz- Palatinate part simmering, 1598-1610 and from 1673 to the Electoral Palatinate. With the occupation of the left bank of the Rhine in 1794 by French revolutionary troops, the place was French, 1815, he was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna. Since 1946 it has been part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded.
