Ivory Coast at the Olympics
Ivory Coast, the NOK, which was the Comité National Olympique de Côte d' Ivoire, founded in 1962 and recognized in 1963 by the IOC since 1964, he took part in the Olympic Summer Games. Except for the boycotted 1980 Moscow Games of athletes were sent to all the Summer Games. On winter games so far participated in any athletes from the country.
A total of 116 participants including 35 women were sent. Gabriel Tiacoh is with his silver medal from 1984 in the 400 -meter run the only medal winner of the Ivory Coast.
In 1976, with the 13 -year-old athlete Celestine N'Drin the youngest athlete of the Ivory Coast in part. The oldest participant was 45 years in 1972 with the canoeist Daniel Sedji.
