São Tomé and Príncipe at the Olympics

São Tomé and Príncipe, the NOK, the Comité Olímpico de São Tomé and Príncipe, was founded in 1979, since 1996 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. On participation in Winter Games was previously waived

A total of 11 participants were sent, including five women. Medals could not win athletes of the island nation to date.

The youngest participant in 2004 was the athlete Fumilay da Fonseca, the area occupied at the age of 16 years, over 20 km of walking space 52. The oldest participants in 2008 was the athlete Celma Soares who retired in the run over 5000 meters.
