1967 Norwegian First Division

The first Divisjon 1967 was the 23rd season of Norway's highest football league and the fifth season under the name 1 Divisjon. The season began on 27 April 1967, and ended on 22 October 1967.

Mode

The 10 teams played in a single round with round-trip game against each other so that each team completed 18 games. Master was the Leading after the last matchday. The last two teams had to dismount.

Season

The promoted Rosenborg BK for the first time Norwegian champion.

Rosenborg led the table since the second match on continuously. They had in the second half more than two points clear of the chasing pack. After matchday 15 them was the championship almost no more to take, since they were five points ahead of all other teams. Finally they secured the first place at the 17th matchday.

The second climber Strømsgodset IF also was able to hold in the first Divisjon.
