The Tippeligaen 2013 was the 69th season of Norway's highest football league and the 23rd season under the name Tippeligaen. It began on March 17, 2013, and ended on 10 November 2013.

Teams and mode
The 16 teams of the season consist of the 13 top-ranked clubs of the previous season and the two climbers Start Kristiansand and Sarpsborg 08 FF from Adecco Ligaen, 2012. Playing in home and away matches against each of the master and relegated. The Master takes as last season 's UEFA Champions League part 2014/15 and the second and third place in the UEFA Europa League 2014 /15 campaign.
Venues
When FK Haugesund - as in the past two seasons - approved by the Norwegian Football Association safety reasons, only 3904 of the 8800 places in Haugesund Stadium.
