Kröslin

Kroslin is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Lubmin based in the municipality of the same name.

Geography

The community Kroslin on the east by the river Peene. South and west are the municipalities Rubenow and Lubmin. To the north is the Bay of Greifswald.

The municipality Kroslin the islands belong Greifswald Oie in the Baltic Sea, off the mouth of the Ruden Peenestrom and Dänholm, Great and Little and Big Wotig pipe plan in Peenestrom. History

Kroslin

For the year 1228 it is believed the first mention of the place Kroslin ( in the documents also Crasselin and Cracelin ). After Niemeyer Kroslin was first mentioned in 1300 as Cracelin. Kroslin was a farming community, both church and vicarage. Kroslin belonged from 1302 to the monastery Eldena.

As in 1900 increased strongly the importance of fisheries to the economies of the towns, there was also a significant increase in population numbers. Spandowerhagen

Grünschwade

Grünschwade was after a treaty of 1720 between Sweden and Prussia a port of refuge for both sides. In Grünschwade then was the border customs office to 1815 for the entry and exit of the Peene river. Hollendorf

Holle village was first mentioned in the 14th century. It was an estate village - owner was until 1851 Wodrig family, then Thurow, of Wolffradt and Vahl.

Karrin

Karrin was first mentioned in the 14th century. Karrin consisted of three parts - Mittelhof, Neuhof and sand box, medium and Neuhof were Gutsorte, sand box, a farming village. In 1937, a hoard of coins with 4032 Pomeranian coins found at Karrin near Wolgast. There are coins from the Vergrabungszeit 1270-1275.

Greifswald Oie

The Oie belonged to the town of Greifswald, in ancient times it was a Slavic place of worship in which the crews ran cultic rites in training and driveway, they called the island " Swante Wostrow "

With the name " Ruden " the island was first described in 1618 in the Lubinschen card. The Ruden was from the end of the 17th century customs and pilot station and was owned legally Wolgast.

Rauhenberg

Vencemin ( historical )

Economy

The districts Kroslin, Freest and Spandowerhagen are on the road L 262 districts Karrin and Hollendorf it off.
