The 16th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1892 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road instead. For the men in the All- Comers Contest occurred in 27 participants in the women's seven. Whereas previously started the women's and the double tournament until after the men's singles tournament, found this year for the first time all tournaments throughout the period next to each other instead.

Men's Singles
