Collepardo

Colle Pardo is a municipality in the province of Frosinone in the Italian region Latium, located about 975 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 93 km east of Rome and about 20 km north of Frosinone.

Geography

Colle Pardo is located in the Monti Ernici and is a member of the Comunità Montana Monti Ernici. It carries the Orange Flag a seal of quality in the field of tourism and the environment of the TCI.

Attractions

  • The monastery Certosa di Trisulti, since 1947 a Cistercian abbey, founded in 996 by Saint Dominic of Sora. Its present buildings date from the renovation of the Abbey 1204.
  • The Botanical Garden Flora Ernica was opened in 1991.

Specialty

The Certosa di Trisulti produces various liqueurs. Is known primarily of high-proof brandy Drops of Imperiali.
