Patrica

Patrica is a municipality in the province of Frosinone in the Italian region Latium, located about 3173 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 88 km southeast of Rome and 16 km southwest of Frosinone.

Geography

Patrica is located on the steep northern slope of Mount Caccume ( 1095 m ) above the Saccotals in the Monti Lepini. It is a member of the Comunità Montana Monti Lepini, Ausoni e Valliva.

The districts Cardigna, Colle San Giovanni, Tufo and Valiana below the center of village on the foothills of the Monti Lepini. Celletta, Fontana dei Conti, Quattrostrade are already in the valley along the Strada Statale 156 dei Monti Lepini, from Frosinone to Latina.

The nearby towns are Ceccano, Frosinone, Giuliano di Roma and Supino.

Traffic

Patrica is 11 km from the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway, exit Frosinone, removed.

  • The medieval castle was transformed in the 17th century Palazzo Spezza with a baroque garden.
