Rheinböllen
Rheinboellen is a town in the Rhein- Hunsrück district, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It is the administrative center of the municipality Rheinboellen, who also belongs. Rheinboellen is a nationally recognized tourist and reported as a basic center in accordance with state planning.

Geography
Rheinboellen is about 10 km ( straight line ) southwest of the Middle Rhine in the south-eastern Hunsrück. It is located at the junction of Bingen Forest (east of town ) to Soon Forest ( south ), which is part of the Natural Park Soonwaldsteig -Nahe since 2005.

Climate
The annual precipitation is 695 mm. The deposits are located in the middle third of the detected values in Germany. At 39% of the stations of the German Weather Service lower values are registered. History
Rheinboellen was first mentioned in 1309. With the occupation of the left bank of the Rhine in 1794 by French revolutionary troops, the place was French, 1815, he was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna.
The Puricelli'sche Foundation was established from 1864 to 1891. After the First World War temporarily again occupied by the French, the place is since 1946 part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded. Rheinboellen was the capital of the so-called "old court ", the altpfälzischen possessions in the Hunsrück Mountains. The ¾ lion is a reduction of the Palatine Lion, the lead, the Wittelsbach dynasty after their investiture of the County Palatine of the Rhine ( 1214 ) for the first time in their coat of arms.

In KiR ( House of Culture in Rheinboellen ), the town hall regularly hosts cultural festivities are held. There are in Rheinboellen a leisure pool and a 500 -acre deer park.
Puricelli'sche Foundation
The Puricelli pen was inherited in 1864 by Henry and Eugenie Puricelli according to the will of her daughter Jenny, who had died young of tuberculosis, but from your great-aunt an asset share of the Rheinböllerhütte, founded as an orphanage Foundation. In Rheinboellen regular events such as Christmas markets and fairs are held. The largest disco event in Rheinboellen is the XMAS DANCE PARTY, which is organized by the Juku eV (Youth and Cultural Association ). Rheinboellen has its own exit on the A61 to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport and 15 kilometers by road from Bacharach on the Rhine river, and one each about 50 km from Mainz and Koblenz. Rheinboellen is the headquarters of Volksbank eG Rheinboellen, with 140 years of tradition, the oldest independent co-operative bank in the Hunsrück. Rheinböllerhütte
