Thulendorf
Thule village is a municipality in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. The community is managed by the Office Carbäk based in the community Broderstorf.
Geography
The municipality Thule village is situated in a ground moraine, bounded on the north by the valley of the Carbäk and in the south from the Valley of Kösterbeck, about ten kilometers east of Rostock.
At Thule village include the districts Hohenfelde, Small Lüsewitz, New Fienstorf, New Thule village and Sagerheide.

Mayor of the municipality is Heike Arndt ( Wählergemeinschaft "Citizens for Thule village" ), she was elected with 93.3 % of votes.
Coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved on 20 March 2002 by the Home Office and registered under No. 259 of the coat of arms role of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Agriculture
Thule village is one of the locations for the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety ( BVL) has approved the planting of so-called genetically modified spring wheat by the University of Rostock in May 2008.
