Zehna

Zehna is a municipality in the south of the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Güstrow country located in the not office belonging Güstrow.

Geography

The community Zehna lies between the cities Gustrow, Krakow am See and Goldberg in the north of the lake district. The hilly terrain reaches near the hamlet of Brown Mountain 77 m above sea level. NN. In the near Klein Breesen is the 37 -acre lake in Breeser same nature reserve.

History

Prince Nikolaus von Werle gave 1291 the cathedral chapter Guestrower the patronage of the Archdeacon of Guestrower provost church belonging to Zehna with the villages of Great Zehna and Wendish Zehna. On the manor in Wendish Zehna the family of Zehne ( Zehna ) sat. 1298 operated in Güstrow the Bishop Peter Camin to the Guestrower Domstift the patronage of the church to Zehna.
