Alt Bukow

Alt Bukow is a municipality in the west of the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Neubukow - salt lagoon, located in the city Neubukow.

Geography

The community of Old Bukow located in a ground moraine between the Hanseatic city of Wismar and the town of Bad Doberan, about 6 km southeast of the Salzhaff. The nearest town is Neubukow ( 5 km). History

First mention is the church and the pastor already in 1192 and 1220. Near the municipality of the Mecklenburg Burgenland Ilenburg was.
