Kuhs
Kuh is a municipality in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Güstrow country located in the office not belonging Güstrow.
Geography
Situated on the main road 103 road between the village and Güstrow Laage is located in a slightly hilly area that slopes eastward to a broad valley. The Augraben drains this valley and is in communication with the upper Recknitz.
History
The first mention in a document dating back to the year 1286. At that time the place was called Cuziz, suggesting a former Slavic settlement. The early name Zely of present-day hamlet of Zehlendorf is also Slavic origin and can be translated with cabbage.
Attractions
Worth seeing is the nature reserve Zehlendorfer Moor. Zehlendorf ( a district of Kuh ) there is a horse farm and a country hotel.
