Geography

The community Reimer Hagen in the Mecklenburg Lake District to the northwest of Krakow Lake is located in a forest, hills and lakes area. The area around the church reaches heights of up to about 80 m above sea level. NN. The closest cities are Krakow am See, Goldberg and Güstrow. In the south, the municipality has a share in the natural park Nossentin / Schwinzer Heath. Southwest of Reimershagener Ortsrandes springs the Bresenitz, east lies the Reimershagener lake.

At Reimer Hagen include the districts Groß Tessin, High Tutow, Kirch Kogel, Rum Kogel and Suckwitz.

History

The scale than Rundlingsdorf Reimershagen first appeared in 1303 in a document on. The area was inhabited in the Bronze Age, it can megalithic graves in a forest northeast of close Reimershagener lake.
