Boddin

Boddinstraße is a municipality in the eastern part of the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The municipality is the Office Gnoien, located in the eponymous city, managed.

Geography

The municipality is located in Boddinstraße slightly hilly area southwest of the small town Gnoien - seen large-scale north of the Mecklenburg Switzerland and south-east of Rostock. Near Boddinstraße springs the Peene, to the north drains the Warbel, a small tributary of the Cernosin, the area up to 40 meters above sea level lying.

To Boddinstraße include the districts Alt Vorwerk, United Lunow, wood Lübchin, Small Lunow, New Boddinstraße and New Vorwerk.

History

1288 appeared the name of the village church Boddinstraße in connection with the consecration of the local church the first time in a document. New Boddinstraße, the youngest district is a Aufsiedlung the early 19th century.

Attractions

In the village church in Boddinstraße, which was consecrated in 1288, was discovered in the 1980s during renovation work old paintings from the 14th century. Near Boddinstraße leads the road from Gnoien over after Teterow, these two cities are located on the main roads (110 and 104). The Federal Highway 20 is approximately 15 kilometers (junction Ticino). The nearest train stations are located in more than 20 kilometers in Teterow at the track Güstrow - Neubrandenburg, in Ticino on the route Rostock -Tessin and in Demmin on the Northern Railway.
