Lelkendorf

Lelkendorf is a municipality in the eastern part of the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Mecklenburg Switzerland, located in the office not belonging Teterow city.

Geography

The municipality Lelkendorfs in the Mecklenburg Switzerland northeast of Teterow is characterized by a small terminal moraine, which reaches 67 m above sea level in the highlands. History

  • The castle in Lelkendorf that those of Levetzow as one of the oldest noble families of the region until 1945 and fief seat, is originally from 1224.
