Biendorf

Bien village is a municipality in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Neubukow - salt lagoon, located in the city Neubukow.

Geography

The community Bien village is situated about 10 km from the Baltic coast in the north and from the salt lagoon located in the west between the four cities Neubukow, Kropelin, cooling Born and Rerik. The municipality lies at an average height of 30 m above sea level. South of the town of Bien village is about 6 ha large lake new peat bog. By places Jörnstorf and Westenbrügge flows of Hell creek. History

Incorporations

Wischuer was incorporated by Büttelkow on 1 July 1950. Büttelkow, Gersdorf and sand Hagen formed on September 8, 1966, the new church Bien village. Jörnstorf heard since 1 July 1998 to Bien village. Westenbrügge was incorporated on 13 June 2004.

Church

Since the 13th century Bien village was in possession of the Schwerin Cathedral Chapter. The Biendorfer church is a flat roofed stone building from 1300 with a rectangular choir and verbrettertem tower using bricks. The first mention of a priest was at 1324. Since 1550, the church is under the patronage of Mecklenburg. The pulpit dates from the year 1665th From 1770 to 1773 belonged to the parish Bien village to Russow, 1777-1850 to Brunshaupten, now a part of cooling Born. In June 1776, the parish building burned down, all church records were lost.

1907, the church was extensively renovated for the last time. In 1999, the stage of construction was so dire that a development association was established, which renovated the church since 2002.

Mr. Büttelkow

The manor house is in the village Büttelkow Büttelkow the community Bien village on the former territory of the goods Büttelkow.

Mansion Körchow

The mansion was built in 1822 Körchow designed by Carl Theodor Severin in the Empire style. It was followed by several reconstructions. The estate was owned by the family von Bülow. At the end of the 18th century it came into the possession of the Danner family. This was followed from 1753 to 1775, the family of Boye until the beginning of the 19th century went to the Billow. In 1932 she sold it to the family Lent, who held it until the expropriation in 1945. After 1945 the manor house was used for residential purposes. For several years, it is once again privately owned and has been restored.

Traffic

Personalities

  • Adolph Friedrich Johann Riedel, German archivist, historian and politician, was born on December 5, 1809 in Bien village, the son of Pastor Johann Christian Conrad Riedel and his wife Maria Amalia Caroline (born Joergens ). He died on 8 September 1872 in Berlin.
