Grammow

Grammow is a municipality in the eastern part of the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office of Ticino, located in the eponymous city.

The municipality is located in Grammow flachwelligem terrain between the rivers Recknitz and Cernosin in northeastern Mecklenburg. The nearest towns are Tribsees, bathroom brawn and Gnoien.

To Grammow include the districts Alt Stasov, Neuhof, New Stasov and Recknitzberg.

On the Good Grammow, which was from 1832 to 1945 in the possession of the family von Randow, there was the beginning of the 19th century a successful race horse breeding. Ernst von Randow won in 1912 with his gelding in only one racing season five trophies and 4,600 marks. A former horse barn is now used as a residence. The manor house was built in 1872. 1945 had the last owner, Ernst Friedrich von Randow, leave with his family the estate. Today, the mansion is owned by the community and has been empty for years. The manor park is neglected and partly urban sprawl. The grave site of the family von Randow was prepared from this again and can be visited in the park of Grammow.
