Germany at the 2010 Winter Olympics

Germany participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver with 153 athletes, including 58 women and 95 men, in all 15 sports part.

In a first phase nomination 44 German athletes (21 women and 23 men ) in five sports, as well as an additional 16 supervisors ( coaches, doctors, physiotherapists, and support staff) were named for the Games on 17 December 2009. In a second phase nomination on 22 January 2010 a further 101 athletes were nominated, also several possible athletes who would still move up with appropriate later fulfillment of the qualification standard may.

With the second qualifying round first total of 141 caregivers were nominated, who had to sign all the honor and commitment of the DOSB.
