Jürgenshagen

Jürgenshagen is a municipality in the west of the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Biitzow country with headquarters in the city Biitzow.

Geography

The community Jürgenshagen between Rostock and Wismar and is about 27 kilometers from the Baltic Sea coast ( in cooling Born). History

Attractions

The Gothic chapel in Jürgenshagen was newly built in 1891 and replaced a spent half-timbered church. The chapel is turmlos, the bell hanging in a roof overhang on the west side of the building.

The mansion in the district Gnemern let Prince Borwin to 1218-1223 built as a moated castle to protect the land trade route between Rostock and Wismar.
