Wittenbeck
Witten Beck is a municipality in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office of Bad Doberan country located in the same city.

Geography
The community is located between the Baltic coast, the mountain ridge cooling, the oldest German seaside resort of Heiligendamm and the cities Kühlungsborn and Bad Doberan. To Wittenbeck include the districts Behind Bollhagen and small Bollhagen.
Behind Bollhagen
Behind Bollhagen is a district of Witten Beck and is located in the east of the village, about two kilometers south of the Baltic Sea coast. The village is the site of the waterworks cooling, which supplies the towns of Bad Doberan, Kühlungsborn and the surrounding communities.
During the G8 summit in Heiligendamm in 2007 was at background Bollhagen checkpoint with a safety lock on the railing around Heiligendamm.
Small Bollhagen
On the Gut Klein Bollhagen a jazz picnic takes place in the summer.
The riding club Witten Beck directed here since 1979, the district championships and organized an annual horse show.

Coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved on 3 April 1997 by the Home Office and registered under No. 124 of the coat of arms role of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Blazon: " Divided by a silver wave oblique bar; Up In Blue three ( 2:1) silver shells; down in a slanting green black sea buckthorn branch with six silver blades and six golden fruit. "
The coat of arms was designed by the Rostockerin Susanne Peters.
Sports
The golf course Wittenbeck is located on the municipal border with cooling Born with an 18 -hole championship course and a nine hole golf course.
The existing since 1953 soccer club SV Witten Beck is active on the sports facilities on Kühlungsborner road.
