Gorno

Gorno is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 1638 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

Gorno located 25 km northeast of the provincial capital of Bergamo and 70 km northeast of the city of Milan.

The neighboring municipalities are Casnigo, Colzate, Oneta, Ponte Nossa and Premolo.

Attractions

• The parish church of San Martino is equipped with many valuable works of art. It was built in the 14th century. In the seventeenth and in the eighteenth century was followed by extensive restorations.
