Ranzanico
Ranzanico is an Italian town with 1242 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy.
Location and data
Ranzanico is located about 33 kilometers east of Bergamo, on the left bank of Lake Endine. The neighboring municipalities are Bianzano, Endine Gaiano, Gandino, Monasterolo del Castello, Peia and Spinone al Lago.
History
The village was mentioned in the year 830 the first time.
Attractions
The church was built in 1476 and renovated in the 18th century. They consecrated the Santa Maria Assunta. Inside there are paintings of the painter Palma il Giovane, Enea Salmeggia, Antonio Vincenzo Angelo Orelli and Cifrondi.
