List of Copa Libertadores top scorers

The list of scorers of the Copa Libertadores includes all of the scorers since 1960 initially played as the Copa Campeones de América competition.

The Ecuadorian Alberto Spencer was in 1960 with seven gates of the first scorer in the Copa Libertadores. Record scorer in the Uruguayan Fernando Morena is with three titles; Top scorer in a season of Argentinean Daniel Onega with 17 goals from the year 1966. Recent titleholders are together with eight gates of the Argentine Matias Alustiza and Brazilian Neymar.

So far succeeded three players their title from the previous season to defend, regardless of whether they were alone or titleholder had to share this with other players. These were the Uruguayan Fernando Morena (1974, 1975), Argentina's Néstor Leonel scotta (1977, 1978) and the Paraguayan Salvador Cabanas (2007, 2008).
