List of Montreal Canadiens seasons

The Canadiens de Montréal are a Canadian ice hockey franchise from Montreal in the province of Quebec. They took in 1909 on their gaming operations in the National Hockey Association and belonged in 1917 to the founding members of the National Hockey League, in which they play continuously since then.

This season statistics lists the results of all previous seasons the Canadiens. So far, the team played 94 seasons in the NHL and previously spent eight seasons in the NHA. In the season 2004/ 05 the entire game operation of the League rested due to a lockout.

With 24 Stanley Cup victories, the Canadiens are the most successful franchise in the league and one of the most successful in North American professional sports.
